The first question most people ask is how much can I save by reloading my own. The answer is simple just go to the Related Links and click on the link How to Calculate Ammunition Cost. You will need to know a few things to get the answer to your question. If you don’t know the answers, we have provided an example for you. This is for a 40 S&W (we did not put in a cost for brass as we know that you picked up the brass you had already shot in your gun). The cost are based on current prices on components you can purchase in our store.
Component Number Cost
Powder(1#) 1 $22.00 Powder Charge (gr) 4.7 Primer 1000 $32.10 Case 0 Bullet 100 $16.54
Cost / Round $.212 Cost / 50 $10.61 Cost / 1000 $212.27
We currently offer 4 classes. They start with the basics of reloading and go through Advanced reloading for Rifles and Pistols. Here are the basic outlines for all the classes we currently offer. All classes cost $70.00 per person. The Basic Reloading class includes a copy of Modern Reloading by Richard Lee Second Edition. When you take any of our classes you will receive a ID card good for a 10% discount on anything in the store. We also make a chronograph available to all our students to check the ammunition they have made for themselves. Remember this is not all about saving money on your ammunition. It is also about making much more accurate ammunition than you can buy in the store.
